I spent my last full day in Golden Bay at an unusual rock formation called the Labyrinth Rocks. It’s located just to the east of Takaka, so close that it might end up as a suburb, and it is unbelievably magical. The limestone rocks press up into our world like dough through a screen; like teeth through the jaw; like Atlas’ fingerprint.
